Trout Unlimited Western Funders Briefing

Please join us August 22-25, 2022, at the iconic Henry’s Fork Lodge in Island Park, Idaho to meet Trout Unlimited’s western leadership team, learn about award winning conservation work in the west and enjoy fishing on one of our nation’s most legendary rivers, the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River.  

This year will mark our 11th annual gathering of western TU donors. We are eager to share how your investment and trust in us is enabling progress at the landscape-scale, driving multi-faceted conservation initiatives, and building the politically capital in parts the rural west to fix some of the most entrenched issues affecting trout, salmon and steelhead.  

The Western Funders Briefing is always a highlight of the year for our staff because we get to dig into our work directly with our generous supporters and spend time together on the water doing what we all love. We design this intimate gathering to encourage personal interaction and dialogue. During the substance-rich, staff-led sessions, we want to hear your thoughts and ideas to help us hone our strategies and tactics, so we achieve maximum conservation impact and return on your investment in us.  

The gathering will begin on Monday evening, August 22 with cocktails and dinner. The conservation discussions will begin on Tuesday morning, August 23, and will run through Thursday morning, August 25. We will have time in the afternoons for guided fishing and other recreation on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (after check-out).
