Why Your Involvement Matters
-
Inspire the Next Generation: There is no better feeling than seeing the pure excitement on students' faces when you walk through their classroom door with their eggs. This delivery marks the thrilling start of a months-long conservation journey.
-
Support Educators Early: Teachers often begin the process as early as November to cycle their tanks. This preparation allows students to gain invaluable, hands-on experience with water quality testing, biology, and ecosystem stewardship.
-
Build Lasting Community Partnerships: This is an incredible opportunity for you and your local TU chapter to forge meaningful connections with schools in your community. Teachers are frequently too busy with daily curricula to reach out, but they deeply appreciate and welcome your support when chapters step up to assist.
