Trout in the Classroom Training at Monte Vista High School

Join us for our 2026 TIC Training at the Monte Vista High School in Monte Vista, Colorado, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Check-in will take place from 8:30–9:00 a.m., with optional networking from 3:00–4:00 p.m.

Please note that this training is mandatory for all new 2026/27 TIC sites and educators and is highly recommended for all returning TIC sites. If you are unable to attend this training, we will also offer a Denver TIC Training on July 2 and Grand Junction TIC Training on Wednesday, July 29.

Again, TIC Training is required for all new and returning 2026/27 TIC sites, and in-person participation is strongly encouraged. A remote training option will also be available for those who are unable to attend in person.

We also highly recommend returning TIC educators, TU Chapter Youth Education Coordinators, and TIC Coordinators attend these events so we can all be on the same page and fully trained. Please reach out to Natalie Flowers or Dr. Martin Harris with any questions or concerns.
