Join us Tuesday, August 31 for the latest installment of Trout Habitat Tuesday!
This week, we will be building in-stream habitat for trout at Mianus River Park in Stamford. It's fun work standing in the water on a hot day - volunteers of all ages are welcome. Bring friends, family, kids and fishing buddies with you!
The Mianus River has been transformed and improved in recent years thanks to dedicated TU volunteers. Over the years, the Mianus Chapter has planted hundreds of trees, created new pools and riffles, and constructed multiple conifer revetments to combat erosion.
Come down Tuesday to help us keep the good work going!
