Join us on Tuesday, July 9th to help maintain a rain garden at Middlebrook School in Wilton!
This large rain garden, constructed by Mianus TU Volunteers, helps filter and reduce storm-water run-off from the Comstock Brook, an important tributary to the Norwalk River and home to the last native brook trout population in the watershed.
We'll get started in the back parking lot of Middlebrook School in Wilton then head over to the site! All tools and equipment will be provided - we'll be clearing out invasive plants and patching up the mulch! Be sure to bring plenty of water!
