Join us Tuesday, May 25th for the latest installment of Trout Habitat Tuesday! This week, we will be returning to our planting projects at Schenck's Island Park in Wilton. Over the last few years, the Mianus Chapter and friends have planted hundreds of native trees at Schenck's, restoring the riparian buffer along the banks of the Norwalk River. Help us beat back the invasive species and cut vines! This project will help everything from pollinators, songbirds, to trout alike!
Due to Trout Unlimited's Covid-19 protocols, we ask participants to bring their own gloves and wear masks in the parking area and anytime social distance cannot be maintained. Bring your own loppers if you have them!
