Teachers in New York are more excited than ever to bring trout back into classrooms this Fall. As we prepare for the Fall TIC Trout Egg Distribution on October 5, we are in need of help to pack 750 bags of trout food. This 2 hour event will simply involve 6-10 volunteers scooping fish food pellets from our 40lb bags into smaller portions for redistribution to our classrooms. The bags will also be labeled and sealed. We will meet at the picnic tables at the Kimberly Bridge area of Ward Pound Ridge Reservation from 10am to noon with plenty of time to cast a fly following the event.
This will be an outdoor event and we will have plenty of space for social distancing.
