This January, we collected more than 300 used Christmas trees with our partner - RIDEM Fish and Wildlife - to install stream bank revetments in the Wood-Pawcatuck Watershed.  We are seeking volunteers to help us with our 2nd project this year on Saturday, August 16.   
 
We'll meet at the Arcadia Deer Check Station at 9:30am, and proceed to the selected stream as a group.  We typically plan four hours to complete the work and have lunch. 
 
Gloves, cool water and lunch will be provided.  Bring your waders or hip boots, bug spray and sunscreen.
