Trash Cleanup at Beaver Creek

 

This is a perfect opportunity to do your part in keeping your community clean and beautiful! Adults and children of all ages are welcome to participate. Volunteers will be supplied with all necessary items for collecting litter around the park (trash bags and gloves) and we will also have high visibility vests for kids to wear, and a limited amount of grabber sticks as well as five gallon buckets.  We suggest wearing the tallest waterproof boots you can find or water shoes if you plan to clean the creek itself (but you can just clean around the bank if you don't want to get in the creek). Make sure to bring a water bottle.

 

PARKING IN THIS AREA IS LIMITED, so we will be meeting at the Monticello Walmart parking lot in order to carpool to the creek. If you are late you can meet us at the creek itself (GPS coordinates: 36.797769, -84.895815), but we HIGHLY recommend being on time to carpool!
