Join Mianus TU and friends Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. for fun, free fly tying demos from talented local tiers! This week, Shane McCaghey ties jig style micro streamers. Inverted jig style streamers have gotten extremely popular in the last few years, and are extremely effective in numerous applications! Although they originated in the competitive fly fishing circuits overseas, these easy to tie flies have now found a permanent home in many angler's fly boxes world wide. This style fly is a perfect base pattern you can use to tie in a multitude of colors and variations!

3-4 mm tungsten beads (silver, copper, black)
Cross cut zonker strips (olive, white, black)
