Join Mianus TU and friends Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. for free fly tying demos by talented local fly tiers! This week, fly tying guru Gustavo Castano shares patterns to match the famous early black stonefly hatches on our local rivers. On warm days in the Spring, you'll often see thousands of these bugs raining down from the trees for hungry, waiting trout. While traditional patterns can get lost in the mix, Gustavo will teach you easy to tie, and realistic stonefly patterns to get the bite!
