Each month, usually the last Monday of the month, leaders of our Chapter invite everyone to share their fly tying expertise and/or learn how to tie a featured fly. No experience is necessary to get started.
The Tie and Lie gathering is a social engagement as well as an educational experience. Meeting announcements are sent out electronically via our mailing list, same as the monthly newsletter.
This month's featured tier is John Giorgini. He will be demonstrating the Blue Collar Worker nymph. If you plan to join and don't have a vice or tying equipment, contact Ernie Frey at ernest.frey@comcast.net.

Bead: Silver Tungsten
Lead: Touching lead wraps to mid-shank (diameter to match the hook wire)
Thread: Olive/Brown 210 Denier UTCto cover lead,
Camel Uni-Thread 8/0 tying the fly,
Doctor Blue Uni-Thread 8/0 for the hot collar
Tail/Body: Pheasant Tail Fibers
Rib: Sulky Tinsel furled with 6X Nylon
Collar: CDC (Dun color)
Hot Collar: Doctor Blue 8/0 Uni Thread
Bead: Silver Tungsten
