Telluride Valley Floor Volunteer Day

Gunnison Gorge Anglers TU Chapter will be planting willow cuttings at the Telluride Valley Floor site on October 17th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Volunteers should bring gloves, muck boots, hand pruners (if you have some), water, and sunscreen and weather appropriate clothing. The area is very muddy due to recent rains, muck boots and utility or rubber gloves are recommended instead of hiking boots and leather gloves. 

 

Directions: Turn left off HWY-145 just past the Shell Station (if traveling from the round-about). Take Boomerang Rd to get to the staging area. Do NOT park on Boomerang Rd until you reach the project staging area. It will be clearly marked. Coordinates: 37.94293, -107.83639
