Member meeting for Ted Trueblood Chapter.
Fly tying at 6:30 p.m.
Program begins at 7:30 p.m.
We will hear from Matt Campbell with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game's fish genetics lab. They have been finding some really cool stuff with the Redband in the Big Wood drainage along with some really interesting statewide whitefish genetic diversity. Long ago TU collaborated with the lab on genetic study of the lower Boise RIver trout, the trout found in Dry Creek in the Boise Foothills. And IDFG and TU worked together on genetic study of the South Fork Boise River trout in 2008. We will get an overlay of the Department's program and some exciting information on the Wood RIver!
