Back to the Boise River
Our March 8 Ted Trueblood Chapter meeting we return to the Boise River in our backyard and learn the latest information on our local fishery from Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Regional Fisheries Manager Art Butts, and Regional Fishery Biologist Tim D'Amico. IDFG last Fall conducted its triennial fish population monitoring of the Boise River from Barber Park downstream and we will get some fresh information on what they found. In addition, the Department annually monitors dozens of sites along the river and at side channels to understand the extent of fry and young of year fish.
We will meet at Smoky Mountain Pizza on Parkcenter Blvd. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting program will begin at 7:30 p.m.
