Tune in to learn about Trout Unlimited's RIVERS App - an easy to use photo-documentation tool for volunteers to mark disturbances like excessive erosion, riparian buffer issues as well as barriers like small dams and culverts. Volunteer led stream habitat assessments help us collect important data to get future projects off the ground!
This spring, we're looking for volunteers to use the RIVERS app to conduct stream assessments on a number of local rivers surveyed during our 'Big Apple Brook Trout' eDNA project.
During the training we'll cover:
- TU's RIVERS App
- Different Kinds of Stream Disturbances
- Potential Projects
- Ways to Get Involved
- & More!
