Join us on Saturday, September 21st to help survey the Farmington River and tributaries for habitat disturbances like excessive erosion, lack of riparian canopy, and barriers like dams and culverts!

We will be using the RIVERS app - Trout Unlimited's photo-documentation tool to help volunteers and staff prioritize habitat restoration projects when funding opportunities arise.

We'll walk a section of the Farmington River and Morgan Brook as a group before splitting up into teams to survey different portions of the river.

Even if you didn't make this past week's training, you can still attend! We'll cover downloading and using the app as well as learning to identify different types of habitat disturbances during the stream survey.
