The Twin Cities Chapter of Trout Unlimited (TCTU) will hold its Annual Meeting and elections for its Board of Directors on Monday, January 22nd at 7 pm. The meeting will be held in-person at the Fat Pants in Eden Prairie, and online via Zoom.
Agenda
*Jennifer Biederman will give an update on Habitat projects in Minnesota. John Lenczewski, the Executive Director of MNTU, will also be present to answer other questions about State Council Activities. Jennifer is the Minnesota Trout Unlimited habitat program director, overseeing habitat enhancement and improvement projects across the state. Prior to joining MNTU, Jennifer taught at Winona State University and Saint Mary's University from 2008 until 2022. Her teaching and research focused on the ecology of cold water streams of the Driftless Ecoregion, and she was particularly interested in the resilience of stream ecosystems to anthropogenic pressures including climate change and land use. At MNTU, she is incredibly excited to see the critical work of habitat conservation in action. Jennifer, her husband, and three young daughters live in an old farmhouse on Garvin Brook in Stockton, MN.
TCTU Chapter Meetings are typically open to the general public, but the Annual Meeting is restricted to chapter members in good standing with dues paid. In order to prepare an accurate list of voting members, registrations will close on January 20th at 8:00 pm.
The Chapter meeting will start at 7 pm, with 10 minutes of "virtual lobby time" to give online participants time to log on. In-person participants are invited to join us for social time and food/drink (on your own dime) from 5 pm onward.
