Come catch up with friends and see this amazing tailwater fishery! Fed from the deep, cool waters of the Hogback dam, the Farmington stays a perfect temperature nearly all summer long.
This time of year, Sulphurs and Cahills should be hatching on the whole river. Arrive and fish whenever and wherever you'd like, but be sure to meet up with us at 1 pm for a stream-side BBQ at the Whittemore Recreation Area on East River Road. We'll be grilling up some burgers and dogs!
If you've never fished this river before, be sure to let us know as there will be several knowledgeable TU volunteers there to provide assistance! If you need to borrow a fly rod, let us know! We've got plenty of full outfits (rod/reel/line) available for you to use.
