Sweep the South Branch is a watershed-wide trash cleanup planned for the South Branch of the Potomac River from April 10-12, 2026.
In this inaugural year, our goal is to unite all of the TU chapters in West Virginia and surrounding communities, along with TU staff, partners and community groups to care for and recover this incredible river system.
In this special planning session, TU staff will review the plans for the weekend, the various volunteer roles available and how you can be part of planning and running a fun event that makes a meaningful difference for our rivers and the people and communities along them!
