Feather River TU is partnering with the Lassen Land and Trails Trust, Bureau of Land Management, California Volunteers and Keep California Beautiful to cosponsor Susanville Community Action Day / National Public Lands Day on Saturday September 27, 9 AM to noon, on the Bizz Johnson Trail and Susan River, Susanville CA. We will be making our beloved river corridor and open lands more accessible and fire safe. What a great way to celebrate our public lands!

Gather at the Susanville Historic Railroad Depot, 601 Richmond Road, Susanville, at 9:00 and choose the project of your choice. We’ll have many projects to choose from - along the Depot “Cut”, the Susan River, and the Bizz Johnson Trail.

We will focus on improving river access and “fire safe” practices - our goal is to reduce vegetation fire hazards along the trail and the Depot “Cut.”

Come help! Supplies and lunch will be provided thanks to generous support from California Volunteers and Keep California Beautiful.
