Sunday Youth On-water Fishing Clinic

Join us for a fun and educational youth event, led by Trout Unlimited's Headwaters Program. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice fly casting, hooking, landing, and safely releasing fish. An invertebrate exploration station will offer a hands-on experience with real specimens, helping participants understand the tiny creatures that fish rely on for food. Families can also learn about Trout Camps, Expeditions, and the many other youth programs within TU.     

Safety is a priority, so sunglasses or other eye protection are required, with extras available on-site. Rods, leaders, flies, and materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own gear. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Parents must be present with children under 13. The event will be held at a nearby location, with details only shared with signed-up participants.

Any anglers under age 16 will be exempt and do not need a Utah a fishing license for this event. Ages 16 and up can purchase a  license at https://wildlifelicense.utah.gov/hflo/main/serv1/index.html?server=serv1 or at a fly shop).
