What's "STREAM GIRLS"?  It's a fun STEM learning program developed by the Girl Scouts USA and Trout Unlimited (TU) to help girls learn to become good stewards of their home rivers and streams.
 
Over the course of multiple sessions this Fall and Spring, TU volunteers from the 5 Rivers TU Chapter in Durango will lead the Girls Scouts fromm 4 Corners troops in observing the Animas River, collecting water flow data, sampling aquatic bugs, fly tying, fly casting and much more.
 
The Kick Off Party is not a drop off event and we're sure that moms, dads, grandparents or older siblings will also enjoy the 1 hour program that will introduce this exciting program for the girls and their families.
