Steelhead Fishing Weekend - Along the Private 1-Mile Douglaston Salmon Run

Once again, we're partnering with the Candlewood Valley Chapter on this great trip fall steelhead trip that is open to experienced anglers and beginners alike!

We have rented all of the houses at the world-famous Douglaston Salmon Run which includes two nights of lodging right in the heart of Pulaski, NY! Situated on the banks fo the river with the option to purchase fishing asses for over 1 mile of private water, you're also close to dozens of miles of some of the best steelhead pools in the East! 

If you've never gone for steelhead before, our chapter veterans are more than happy to help you make your first trip a success. Led by knowledgeable hosts, we will provide you with all you need to know - from gear and fly selection to fishing tips and tactics - to give you your best shot at hooking into a powerful "chromer" that will have your reel singing!

Check-in is Friday, Nov. 12 at 4 p.m. and check out is Sunfay at 10 a.m., but anglers are welcome to arrive early to fish or stay late to get on "just one more cast"!

All guests on this trip are required to have proof of full Covid-19 vaccination, or proof of a negative Covid-19 test no more than 72 hours prior to the start of the trip. Given the potential for breakthrough infections, vaccinated guests are encouraged to take a Covid-19 test prior to the trip as well.
