Tune in to be inspired by what TU volunteers are doing to drive the national direction of our organization and hear how grassroots members and supporters like you are making a difference.
The National Leadership Council is the volunteer body that sets the direction of TU and is made up of one volunteer representative elected from each state of TU’s 36 councils.
The NLC advises and participates on the development of the strategic plan and supports implementation of national and regional initiatives designed to improve the capacity of TU.
The National Leadership Council is the volunteer body that sets the direction of TU and is made up of one volunteer representative elected from each state of TU’s 36 councils.
The NLC advises and participates on the development of the strategic plan and supports implementation of national and regional initiatives designed to improve the capacity of TU.
The NLC accomplishes these tasks by serving as a conduit between the volunteers at state councils and local chapters and the staff and board at TU national. NLC Representatives bring issues and concerns from their states to the national level and then bring decisions and initiatives from the national level back to their councils.
During the NLC Annual Meeting, you'll hear first-hand how these volunteers are setting direction and leading important initiatives within the organization. You'll also discover new ways you can connect with TU and make a difference.
Note: Votes and discussion during the meeting are for elected NLC Representatives only. We will hold time at the end for Q&A from other attendees.
