Source-to-Sea Cleanup and September Chapter Meeting

On Saturday, September 23rd we will partner with the Connecticut River Conservancy (CRC) for the annual Source-to-Sea Cleanup. We’ll also combine our monthly chapter meeting with this event. There is no regular DRWTU chapter meeting on Thursday, September 21st.

For the chapter meeting and river cleanup, we’ll meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Shunpike Rest Area, just west of Charlemont on Route 2. Around 9:30 a.m. we’ll break into groups and head to different places on the river for the cleanup. Please bring water and gloves and wear sensible clothes for working outside. If you have a pickup truck or trailer and are willing to help haul trash, please let us know—it would be a big help.
