Join us to hear Jack Pittard, a lifetime fisherman and avid adventurer, entertain us with the history behind fly fishing for bonefish. Even if you are primarily a freshwater angler, you have likely heard tales of fishermen stalking these beautiful, challenging fish in the saltwater flats. In the fly fishing world, bonefish are on many anglers’ “species bucket list.” Learn about the fascinating history of fly fishing for bonefish – the famous anglers who paved the way, the legendary catches, and of course the best tactics to target bonefish! Feel free to tie some flies and chat with us after the presentation
This event is free and open to anyone, adults and children, fishers and non-fishers alike! Jack will provide a slide show illustrating the history and tactics surrounding bonefish. You will also have an opportunity for Q&A with Jack after the presentation.
Come for the fish, stay for a cider (or two) and some food from Little Fork! See you there!
