The Sebago Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Maine Fly Guys are co-hosting a cleanup day on Red Brook in South Portland, ME. We're looking to continue the Earth Month efforts of April into the month of May as we focus cleanup efforts on this small water that's home to a thriving population of wild brook trout.
This event is free and open to the public — so tell your friends, fishing buddies, and anyone else who wants to explore and protect Red Brook.

We'll be focusing our cleanup efforts on the lower section of Red Brook that's impacted by a stretch of highway and the Maine Mall parking lots.
Everyone is welcome, and we'll provide all the trash pickers, bags, and gloves needed. If you have waders or waterproof boots, we encourage you to bring them, but they are not required to help us clean up Red Brook.
This will be a great chance for people of all ages to get out on a unique watershed in the greater Portland area, and learn about a thriving trout habitat that's rare in this part of the state.

9 AM - Kicking things off with coffee and breakfast as we divide into groups and head out to different sections of Red Brook.
12 PM - Everyone returns to Red Brook Trailhead for an afterparty with food, drinks, a free raffle for excellent fishing gear (reels, rods, boxes of flies, apparel, and other great giveaways) — and a chance to talk about Red Brook and other watershed projects in the area.
We’ll meet at the Red Brook Trailhead, located at the southern edge of the parking lot at 179 John Roberts Rd.
