Scranton, PA - Advocacy Letter Writing Meetup

Join us at Groove Brewing (1401 Sanderson Ave, Scranton, PA 18509) to enjoy drinks with fellow TU folks and partners to learn how to write convincing LTEs (Letter to the Editor) and correspondence to State Legislators. Our advocacy focus for this workshop will be the Land and Water Conservation Fund which is currently being reviewed by Congress. We will have a small intro presentation, refreshments, and a brief advocacy tactics training presented by Mountain Moving Strategies, LLC!

 

When the integrity of our resources is in question, it is vital for the conservation community to join forces. We invite all of our partners and their members to join us for this important informational & action taking event! The workshop is no cost to attendees, and we will provide all of the letter writing supplies needed. If you prefer to type your versions of the letters/ LTEs, please feel free to bring your own laptop and we will provide an email to use to submit your letter.
