Fall is a great time to plant trees that will grow to shade and protect our area rivers.
Join us on Sunday, Oct. 18 from 8 to 11 a.m. at Schenck's Island Park at 202 Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton for a safe, socially distant tree planting project.
We will be planting more than 200 native trees and bushes - including oaks, maples, sycamores, willow, spicebush and more - to restore the riverbank along our major river restoration project site.
To help keep everyone safe, we will follow Trout Unlimited's COVID Safety Protocols and also require everyone to register / sign-in for contact tracing purposes.
