Let's plant some trees! TU staff recently completed a stream bank stabilization project on the Saranac River, right along the SUNY Plattsburgh Campus. The project utilized large wood installations that helped to secure a rapidly eroding stream bank, while providing unique habitat for the trout swimming below. How can you help?

The project utilized large wood installations that helped to secure a rapidly eroding stream bank, while providing unique habitat for the trout swimming below. How can you help?
The final phase of a project like this requires planting native trees that will generate strong roots and create future streamside shade to hide the trout and keep water temperatures cool. Members of the newly formed SUNY Plattsburgh 5 Rivers Club and Trout Unlimited staff will be on site to organize and welcome all volunteers, starting at 10 AM. Meet up location will be: __________
