Roadless: America’s Sporting Lands
Details
For 25 years the Roadless Area Conservation Rule has safeguarded 58.5 million acres of national forest lands across 39 states. These unroaded public lands provide some of the best fish and wildlife habitat and hunting and angling opportunities for Americans of all walks of life.
Join Trout Unlimited for a breakdown of their new report, Roadless: America’s Sporting Lands, that illustrates the economic, biological, and recreational value provided by roadless areas. This data-driven report documents the hunting and fishing values of roadless areas and what’s at stake for our outdoor traditions if these public lands lose protections afforded by the Roadless Rule. The research – much of it provided by state and federal agencies – shows that in terms of maintaining aquatic habitat, clean water, wildlife security, and quality hunting and fishing opportunity, roadless areas are second to none.
The webinar is free and there will be opportunity for Q&A following the presentation.
