Can you hear the song of the river? Help learn its voice in a trash pick-up/water loving tree ID event with Bluegrass Trout Unlimited!

We'll be beautifying the waterway and identifying trees around West Hickman Creek at Veterans Park with BGTU on October 10th! Learn to ID the trees that love water as much as you do, like American Sycamore, Bald Cypress, and River Birch. Meeting at noon at the outdoor classroom, we'll provide tree ID kits and trash pick-up supplies for a fun-filled volunteer event!

Special directions: Close-toed shoes recommended, will be walking around the creek and in low brush.

Parking: Park near Shelter One if possible, signs will point to the outdoor classroom.

Directions: Park at Picnic Shelter 1, walk down the hill and left onto the path towards the bridge. Cross the bridge, and the classroom is on the right!
