New Mexico Department of Game and Fish is stocking RGCT in the Rio Grande Gorge. Join us in helping them backpack RGCT fingerlings down to the Rio Grande. You will be carrying between 2-4 gallons of water with the fingerlings in sturdy plastic bags. Bring a frame pack or a good daypack, hiking boots, layers of clothes, sunscreen, hat, drinking water and lunch. The event will take between 3-5 hours and is strenuous. Trails are improved but rocky.
