Rice Creek Work Day!
We will be doing a brush and debris cleanup in Rice Creek on April 15th in Marshall, MI. This is first part of an exciting stream improvement project grant through Fish America awarded to KVCTU.
We anticipate brush clearing to take approximately 3 hours but any time you have available is always greatly appreciated and welcomed!!
Please meet at 301 Pearl Street in the parking area there. We will have the KVCTU chapter trailer available with gas powered and hand tools.
Bring your gear to get in the water. If you have personal chainsaws, rakes and tree trimming tools you are welcome to bring them but we will have tools provided. We will be removing and relocating woody debris and any trash we collect during the process.
We will meet at Dark Horse Brewery in Marshall after for food and drinks for anyone that would like to join.
