Have a great day of fall fishing on the Housatonic River with your friends and fellow anglers of the Mianus Chapter - while staying safe and socially distant. The fall foliage will be in full color, and the river is a stunning place to spend a day!
We'll be fishing on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31 SATURDAY, NOV 7 starting at 9 a.m. on the Housatonic River in Cornwall Bridge, CT, meeting at Housatonic Meadows across from the old Breadloaf Mountain Cottages at 13 US 7 in Cornwall Bridge and you're free to stop in for an hour, stay the whole time, or move up and downstream to fish on your own. (Note: Maps and GPS will often bring you to Housatonic Meadows Campground, which is approximately 2 miles north of the park where we are meeting.)
We'll be asking attendees to wear masks in the parking areas and when congregated closer than 10 feet apart, and stay at least a rod's length apart from other anglers out on the water.

This is a great river and location for beginner anglers, families and kids, and those new to TU and fly fishing to come have fun, meet great people and enjoy some fishing in scenic surroundings!
