Reaching 5 Rivers with UGA’s Tyler Hernandez

Come learn about the 5 Rivers TU college partnership that is cultivating our trout conservation leaders of tomorrow.  Tyler Hernandez, a member of UGA’s 5 Rivers Club, will explain what 5 Rivers is all about; the role of individuals and TU chapters like ours in supporting 5 Rivers; and the best practices for getting young people involved (a key strategic goal for us this year).

 

About Our Speaker:

Tyler started fishing very young and expanded into fly fishing after being introduced to it by Georgia TU. He’s had the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities from learning how to fish at GA Trout Camp to planning with the Youth Leadership Council, helping to teach and guidie for All Kids Fish in Helen, and now through his involvement with UGA 5 Rivers. Tyler reports that he still loves stockers!
