Quarterly Roadside Cleanup

Join us for our first scheduled roadside cleanup along hwy 441. We meet at the Island Home Baptist Church on hwy 441. We will gather around 8:30 am for some hot coffee and fresh doughnuts and after registering and a short safety talk, get started by 9:00 am. We will collect trash from the west entrance of Norris to Powerhouse rd just below Norris Dam, we also gather trash along River Road running along side the Clinch, we generally finish up by 11:45 am. If you are in need of of community service hours for Scouts or school this is a great cause and we can always use the help. TVA supports our efforts with gloves, grabbers, and safety vests. Litter crew signs will be posted on the hwy for our safety. You do not have to be a member of our Chapter to take part.
