We’re hosting guide Anita Coulton for a talk on fishing pocket water in the Upper Delaware.
Anita’s journey with a fishing rod began at age 3 when her father, an avid outdoorsman, sat her on the bank with a beat up Zebco. A deep love for the outdoors was born, and more importantly, a passion to pursue anything that could be caught with a fishing rod.
Her extensive fly fishing experience spans over 25 years, and while she is comfortable in both fresh and saltwater, wild trout have become her passion. A former competitive angler, she has fished alongside some of the world’s best. In 2017 and again in 2020, she earned the title of NJ Flyfisherman of the year.
Anita is a full time Orvis Endorsed Guide with Cross Current Guide Service, where she spends well over 100 days on the water each season.
Anita is active with Casting for Recovery and has been involved for over 10 years. In the off season, Anita is an adjunct professor at a nearby college, where she teaches physical therapy.
