Join Copper Country TU as we care for and enjoy the Pilgrim River with a streamside tree planting!

Volunteers will help plant native tree species which will help clean and cool the water, provide woody habitat, stabilize banks, and support native plant diversity over invasive species.

This event is family-friendly and lunch will be provided. Please note that volunteers can expect to walk about 0.5-1 mile to the site. Please secure a free ticket so we can plan accordingly.

This planting is part of a larger river restoration project to improve aquatic habitat in the Pilgrim River that was impacted by flood events and invasive Reed Canary grass. This project is funded in part by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation's Sustain Our Great Lakes program.
