Join Paul Vertrees, the lead backcountry guide for Royal Gorge Anglers to learn about hiking and fishing in the backcountry. While the Arkansas River is one of our most famous fishing locations, it can also be crowded. Lots of smaller streams that flow into the Ark have fish, you just have to work a bit to get to them. While this will focus on the Cañon City area, everything you learn will apply to “blue lining” anywhere in our state and beyond.
