Outdoor Classroom and West Hickman Creek Cleanup and Gathering

Join us for the Bluegrass Chapter's fall kickoff event at our Embrace A Stream outdoor classroom along West Hickman Creek in Veterans Park on Sunday, September 8, 2024. We're seeking volunteers to help clean up the creek and surrounding area by removing garbage and debris.

This is an opportunity for anyone interested in volunteering and preserving our local environment. Whether you're a chapter member or someone wanting to learn more about Trout Unlimited, we welcome your help. This is a family event, so bring friends or come alone. 

BGTU will provide all Volunteers with the necessary supplies for trash pickup, including bags, gloves, and grabbers. We recommend wearing appropriate footwear for walking in dense vegetation or in the creek if desired.
