Please take note. Tonight's meeting is in building #9 in the Lorusso Solarium on the 3rd floor. Park in lot 9, 10 or 11 and follow the path straight up to building #9. Join Olivia and Dr. Andy Danylchuk for an insightful presentation on the final results of the striped bass catch-and-release study conducted by a team of researchers from UMass Amherst. Over the past two years, with invaluable help from dedicated anglers, they have gathered crucial data on the response of striped bass to catch-and-release practices. Discover the results of the collective research efforts and how your contributions have shaped best handling practices to enhance survival rates and help secure the future of this iconic fishery. Olivia was just awarded the Stephen Berkely Marine Conservation Fellowship from the American Fisheries Society in recognition of this research project, while at a global conference in Hawaii.
Pizza and refreshments will be served. This meeting is free and open to the public but we ask that you register so that we can plan for food and drinks.
