Everyone is welcome to help with the installation of biologs on Whitewater Creek to stabilize the banks and direct stream flow into deeper, colder runs.
Sat, Jun 6 at 9:00 AM (CDT) until noon. The work session will be followed by a brat fry. (You will have the rest of the day to cast flies to Wisconsin trout!)
The work site is at the Millis Road crossing of Whitewater Creek just southeast of Whitewater, WI. Link to Work Location on Google Maps (Parking is located about 500 feet Northeast of the creek on Millis Road.)
Bring waders if you have them (some work does not require them), safety glasses, work gloves and a folding chair to sit on during the brat fry.
RSVP to Ken Rizzo at riz2337@yahoo.com or call 262-370-4937 if you plan to attend. Registration will assure that adequate food is ordered, that your questions will get answered and that you will be notified if the event is canceled for weather or other reasons. Illinois participants can also touch bases with Oak Brook TU Director John Martyn at jakmar2@comcast.net.
