Join community volunteers from New York & Vermont for a great local cleanup event on the Battenkill! We have *2* different locations where you can meetup to begin the cleanup at 10AM. Following the cleanup (around noon), volunteers are welcome to rendezvous at Ramunto's Brick Oven Pizza in Arlington.
Shushan, NY: Stateline Roadside Park (the Service Road parking area off Rt. 313) @ 10 AM
Arlington, VT: Meet at Arlington Rec Park @ 10 AM
There will be two dumpster locations (Arlington Rec Park & NY-313 Parking Area) provided by our partners at Casella Waste Services We will provide trash bags, but folks should come with their own gloves and bright/neon clothing. All trash should be brought by volunteers to one of the dumpster locations.
