Volunteers needed! Help us plant trees at the former Dana Dam impoundment site on the Norwalk River.
In the Fall of 2023, Trout Unlimited and our partner, Save the Sound, removed the Dana Dam on the Norwalk River. This project helped restore over 18 miles of river for wild and native trout, as well as diadromous migratory fish species like American Eel, River Herring, and native Sea Lamprey.
We'll provide shovels, gloves, snacks, and plenty of water.
