There has been a lot of interest in pike fishing so we've added a second date! Join us on July 21st for an exciting pike fishing adventure! We are offering a unique opportunity to give five anglers the chance to experience the thrill of catching northern pike on the fly. Fly fishing for northern pike is exhilarating due to the sheer power and aggression of these formidable predators. The thrill of watching a pike strike your fly, followed by a fierce battle on the line, offers an adrenaline-pumping experience that keeps people coming back for more.
Brian Gilbert of Western Mass Guide Service is one of the few guides in Massachusetts who specializes in targeting pike . He will be working with two other pike guides on July 21st so that CCTU board member Kara Hayhurst is able to invite 5 more anglers to accompany her on the trip. We will be doing a full day of fishing in 3 drift boats (2 anglers per boat). The guides will provide the rods, reels and flies. Anglers are required to have a MA fishing license, wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and bring their own food and drinks.
Email Kara Hayhurst at khayhurst7@gmail.com with any questions.
Please note that the cost of the trip is to pay the guide fees - TU is not making any money off of this trip. The fee is nonrefundable after July 13th when I will be required to pay the guides. Thank you.
