Join Beverly Smith, TU's Vice President for Volunteer Operations, for an hour-long orientation and training designed to support new TU council-level leaders. The session will help to ground for folks the role and importance of TU's state councils and our National Leadership Council function. We'll explore ideas to help make councils more effective, and there will be space and time for council level leaders to connect across state lines, ask questions or elevate needs/ concerns with staff.
This training is designed for folks new in their council-level role (from general council officer to chair to NLC rep.) But, it might also be a good fit for an aspiring council-level leader or as a refresher for more seasoned council-level leaders too!
