We have a great meeting planned. We have two speakers who will provide info and intel about fishing the Caney Fork. Topics will cover the public access points, seasons on the Caney, fly selection, understanding the generation schedule, what the orifice gate is and its effect on the fish, stocking schedules, and much more. Don't miss out.
Tentative schedule
5:30-6:30 Gathering and social time. Come meet that new fishing buddy you have been looking for, free fly-casting sessions, food and drink, Fly South will be open for the evening. So come and look for that all important thing you don't know you need.
6:30-7:00 Chapter update and upcoming events
7:00-8:00 Program "Caney Fork Fest"
We will also have a great raffle for a popular fly rod valued at more than $500. Everyone who RSVPs and is in attendance at the meeting will receive a free raffle ticket (no donation necessary). Additional raffle tickets will be available by making a donation to Music City Trout Unlimited: $10 for 1 ticket, $20 for 6, $40 for 15, $60 for 25. Your donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. MCTU is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. All proceeds from your donation stay in the chapter and used to further education and conservation projects.
Music City Trout Unlimited Fish Camp Coffee can be pre-ordered and picked up at the meeting. By pre-ordering your coffee, you will receive the freshest coffee. It will be roasted and bagged no more than three days before the meeting.
