Music City Trout Unlimited Spring Membership Picnic
Hey All! Come join us for a day on the river with a good old-fashioned picnic and social.
We'll be at Long Branch recreational area/campground on May 17th from 9:00 AM till 3:00 pm.
Fishing, grilling, kayaking/canoeing, casting lessons, casting challenge and, of course some great fish tales. (lying is accepted/expected)
It's been noticed that some of the local guides hang out there so you may have a chance to get some intel.
MCTU will have hot dogs, chips, and beverages but we encourage anyone to bring a favorite picnic item to share.
The Fun will include:
10:00: State Park Ranger Gary Bruce will be on site to give an update on the dam repairs and will have info on upcoming dam tours.
10:30 - 11:00: Trout in the Classroom members will be releasing some of the trout they have raised.
11:00: Old fashioned Hot Dog Cook-Out. MCTU will provide food and beverages but feel free to bring something extra to grill.
All day: Casting Lessons, Casting Contest, Fishing Access, Entomology Conversations
